hej folks,

my brother-in-law is just testing a second time blending petrol with E85. Now he drives E50 without any problems, but he thinks about driving on pure E85.

the ECU won't be able to control the fuel inject to reach a necessary level, so the engine will run lean under E85.

i see two options:
1. installing a piggybox like sparflex, http://www.e85info.eu/
2. mounting bigger injectors, which make the car a monovalent E85 car

does anyone have experiences with switching a Nissan to E85?

thank u :)

Hallo!

Hello!

This is an old post, but since there are no answers, I will still respond.

I have no experience with the Nissan four-cylinder, but my 2 liter six-cylinder Nissan Maxima has run perfectly for the last 6000 km on E85.
I use the Abcesso Flex Fuel Kit. The only challenge was that Nissan uses its own variety of the NipponDenso plug. Abcesso does not have this plug.
So I had to modify the NipponDenso plug slightly myself.
Otherwise no problems. Cold start down to -7 degrees is no problem. Consumption super = 11 liters. Consumption E85 = 14 liters.
